Day 2 Fri 19th May

Woke up early for our breakfast as tat day we’ll b following a 1-day tour. Take a look at the food prepared for us. How “sumptuous” and “wonderful” it is. Hahha. faint ah.

We were really shocked when we saw these at de pantry. The vegetable-look-alike look so unedible. Onli de ham and eggs look ok to us. So we end up eating bread cum ham and eggs. Oh ya, and it’s cold bread. Tink they juz took it out from de refrigerator. Other ppl r using the toaster so bo bian, we eat cold bread. Den we were eating when we seemed to heard someone calling “Miss Eng.. Miss Eng.. Miss Eng”. Whahha. It was the tour guide. Took us sometime b4 we notice his presence. So we quickly gobble up our food and left for de tour.

We visited the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall and also witness the changing of guards’ ceremony at Martyr’s Shrine. There’s a total of 5 guards marching for the ceremony. haha. den everyone is following them like chasing idols like tat.

Hahha. but I tink the focus for us is not de marching. We noticed 2 帅哥 wor!!! They looked so smart! Hahha.

After tat we proceed to 九份 which is located up in hills of northeast Taiwan. There we bought some of its 九份特产, titbits and shoes.

The tour guide told us to put all de titbits tat we bought inside the shop and then after shopping for our stuff den go back collect. But de 5 of us forgot abt tat!! We happily shopped finished our shoes and accessories and went back to a spot to wait for the tour bus with other ppl. We waited for quite long when the tour guide came running to us. "Eh! 你们没有去拿你们的东西啊?!?" We were like OMG!! so pai seh k. The 5 of us and the rest waited for so long juz bcos de tour guide was waiting for us at the shop to collect our stuff. Ah.... we ran like mad again.. feel so malu again. ahhaha. but later when we came back, the tour guide received a call saying the tour bus met a small accident, and had to settle the compensation stuff, so need to delay abit. whahaha. so i tink also not our fault tat everyone has to wait for so long. heh.

For lunch, we had Mongolia food. there's a variety to choose from: buffet, steamboat and barbecue. Not bad lah de food, at least much much better than our breakfast. hahha. Then we were brought to this Mao's house which sells some of their 特产 again, including lin2 zhi1, royal jelly and some cosmetic stuff. We were made to sit in a row, in front of some tables. Aiyo u noe ah, de person there keep saying, "我们不是要你们买我们的特产哦, 我们只是要介绍你们我们的一些特产.. 我们不是要你们买我们的特产哦." Say until so nice riz.. they keep emphasizing tat they wun force us to buy their stuff. Then after she say sth like hope we enjoy our trip, a group of their gals suddenly "marched out" and came in front of us!! Alamak! Is like one-to-one. they started asking us which pdt we wan to buy, which one we wan to buy. And hoh, their selling is really aggressive man!! In de end, each of us really bought their stuff, which cost us quite much. *sweatz* Hope the pdts really work as wat they hav claimed.

Then we came to this 算命 place. The person told us quite some stuff regarding wat tings to place in wat directions. And then wat kind of 生肖cannot marry which kind of 生肖, or else will keep quarrelling. haha. we did a simple 算命 for each of us. Tat person told hw tat next time when she marry, she'll b v fierce, she'll b able to sort of control her husband. hahha. den mine was tat i'm v stubborn, not v willing to listen to other ppl's suggestions, but i will meet alot of 贵人in my life. muahah. And then he also showed us how to 发财. hahha. we hav to use both hands massage a "lion" head, den slide down to its body, den quickly tugged our hands into our two pockets to "keep the wealth". Interesting ya.

Next station is the 北头温泉 which all of us hav been looking forward to. But.. it's abit of dissapointment leh. The 温泉 looks more like a bathtub to us. And we hav to fill de water ourselves. Everyting is juz not up to our expectations. hahha. de public pool was under maintenance, so we went to de tiny rooms de. The public pool one will need to b naked.. phew. haha. de tiny rooms one u wear anyting they also dunno.

Next, is nite time le! The tour guide not bad lah. he told us to leave our shopping stuff on de bus and will help us send back to our hotel. Went to Taiwan's largest and most popular士林夜市 which is famous for its shopping and delicious Taiwanese snacks. Tried out its its ou3 rou4, 臭豆腐 and 大饼包小饼. Den we went to shop again. hahha.

After tat it was nearly 12am le. We decided to catch the last train and come back the following day. Tired le..
